The Courageous Life

“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain” Philippians 1.21

From David King

On Sunday, I preached the third of our series of sermons on “Life lessons from COVID” (Here’s a link to the series: https://sermons.stpats.org.uk/series/2021-07-04-1030/).

As we looked at “The courageous life”, I suggested that a good practice would be to start each day with a prayer inspired by Philippians 1.

Here it is:

Jesus, since it looks like I have to wait at least another day before I see you, help me today, in everything I do,
to exalt you,
to be fruitful for others,
and to fear nothing.

Amen
